We actually survived our first camping trip: 3 nights in the wilderness! I am so glad James finally gave in to getting an air mattress. He wasn't convinced that the new ones wont leave his butt on the ground in the morning. However, one night with ours and he is now hooked. We had a blast hanging out with the family all weekend long. We went for a ride on the scanoe, lots of hikes, spent hours in the sand by the lake, ate lots of delicious treats, and laughed constantly. Luckily there were no bugs! James was also sweet enough to get me honey bucket. That saved me at night because I was not about to hike to the bathrooms every hour in pitch blackness and freezing coldness. One night he woke up saying, "whats that noise, it sounds like a flash flood!" I was laughing so hard I almost tipped over. When we got home we are all filthy, so I made all 3 of us get in the shower before doing anything (yes number 3 means sugar). That may sound a little weird, but believe me, it was necisarry!

Diapers....
Ok, so we were looking at diapers the other day because apparently our kid is going to need them ;) Anyway, James was looking at the different sizes and he noticed the weight amounts listed next to the size... he turned to me and said, "7 lbs of poop is a lot to carry around" I started laughing so hard!!! I told him the weight wasn't for the amount of poop a diaper holds, but for the weight of the baby! He felt a little dumb, but it definitely made my day!!!! lol

Sugar Bear

I got sugar as a puppy days before I met James. She has been part of our family for as long as we have been part of each others lives. Recently we saw a huge lump on her tongue. We took her into the vet where she had surgery and a biopsy done on her lump. It came back as a non deadly tumor that never stops growing. The vet cut out as much as she could, but she couldn't get all of it out because Sugar still has to be able to eat and drink. This tumor is supposed to grow SLOWLY.... we are praying for this because we are not ready to say goodbye to our sweet baby sugs yet. She is such a huge part of our lives! She is so sweet and loves to snuggle. We can't wait to introduce her to her new baby sister :)
First Pregnancy
When we found out we were pregnant I was both scared and excited. I started having dreams of having two sugars (my dog). I didn't actually birth them in my dream, but I did carry them around as if they were my babies. I just knew that meant we were having twins. Much to our relief, after 3 ultra sounds, we have just one baby girl growing all by herself. Once the relief of being pregnant with one baby came true, other changes started to unfold.
There have been so many changes going on with me both inside and out due to our cute baby growing inside me. The biggest changes at first were all emotional. I was a wreck! I cried about everything and nothing every day. I also was extremely dizzy which made it so I couldn't even drive without feeling like passing out almost. Luckily I found a motion sickness bracelet and iron pills! I was anemic, but not anymore.
The next thing to change were my boobs. I never knew this size was humanly possibly, but apparently it is! lol
Clothes have also been a huge challenge for me. I love clothes and shopping, especially for jeans and pants. Those are my favorites. After 3 months my collection had to be put away. Shopping for pregnant clothes just isn't the same. I guess that is a good thing for our shrinking budget. Currently my biggest challenge is sleep. I am a tummy sleeper. I miss it! Sleeping on my side with maternity body pillows just doesn't cut it. It also doesn't help that I wake up every hour to pee. Lucky for me I get summers off, so I am able to sleep in.
Now that I am aware of my body growing bigger every day, and what happens because of it, I am able to start focusing more on getting our house ready for our new baby. Shopping for her has been a blast! We recently ordered furniture online and I can't hardly wait to set it all up when it gets here!
